Protect Rancho Santa Fe is a 501(c)(4) nonprofit organized to preserve the rural residential character, open spaces, and historic land use patterns of our community.
Together, we can preserve the heritage, beauty, and future of Rancho Santa Fe.
Two Ways to Give:
1. Direct to Protect Rancho Santa Fe (501(c)(4)), a nonprofit public benefit corporation. Supports our full mission, including advocacy and lobbying. Donations are not tax-deductible and the disclosure of donor identities is protected under IRS regulations.

Tax-Deductible via Rancho Santa Fe Historical Society (501(c)(3)) Protect Rancho Santa Fe and the Rancho Santa Fe Historical Society share a common commitment to the protection, education, preservation, and thoughtful interpretation of the historical, cultural, and architectural assets of Rancho Santa Fe and its surrounding areas. We work collaboratively with community members, institutions, and governmental bodies to promote policies and practices that safeguard the integrity and character of this historic community. Through our established supporting relationship, donations made to the Historical Society help advance Protect Rancho Santa Fe’s preservation efforts, with the exception of lobbying activities, which 501(c)(3) organizations cannot fund.
